Marcia McEntyre

Marcia retired from state government service at the end of 2015 after more than three decades working in the Governor’s Office spanning the Administrations of Governor Christie, Governor Corzine, Governor McGreevey, Governor Codey, Governor DiFrancesco, Governor Whitman, Governor Florio, and Governor Kean. During her tenure, she served as Executive Assistant to numerous Governor’s Chiefs of Staff under six of these Administrations.  She also held earlier positions in the Governor’s Press Office as the Public Events Coordinator under Governor Kean and Supervising Public Information Officer under Governor Florio.

Prior to joining state government, Marcia held several positions in the private sector including time at Princeton University working for a Provost (Nassau Hall) and in Admissions (West College); at E.R. Squibb & Sons, which is now Bristol Myers for the Overseas Packaging Manager; and at North American Philips Lighting (Norelco) as Executive Assistant to the Sr. VP of Personnel and also as Travel Coordinator for the Dutch-based Company, upon completion of a required travel course at a travel agency.

Marcia is a graduate of Hopewell Valley High School in Pennington, NJ and attended Trenton State College (now The College of NJ).
