GTB Partners Supports Legislation to Expand Access to Telehealth Services in New Jersey

News

On June 4th, GTB Partners’ client, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), testified before the Assembly Financial Institutions and Insurance Committee in support of legislation that would permanently extend pay parity for telehealth and telemedicine services in New Jersey.

This legislation represents an important step toward ensuring long-term access to quality healthcare for New Jersey residents, particularly pediatric patients and their families. By permanently extending telehealth pay parity, healthcare providers will be better positioned to continue offering accessible, high-quality care while reducing barriers that can prevent patients from receiving timely treatment.

Telehealth has become an essential component of the healthcare system, providing families with greater flexibility, improving continuity of care, and expanding access to specialized services. Maintaining reimbursement parity will help preserve these benefits and support providers in meeting the evolving healthcare needs of communities across the state.

GTB Partners is proud to support clients and initiatives that advance policies aimed at improving healthcare accessibility and strengthening New Jersey’s healthcare infrastructure.

We thank the members of the Assembly Financial Institutions and Insurance Committee for their thoughtful consideration of this important legislation and their continued commitment to improving healthcare outcomes for New Jersey’s children and families.
